| HOW WE SOURCE OUR COFFEE |

| We are proud of our reputation for producing the best
espresso coffee in the UK and our customers have rated our
coffee the best for nine consecutive years. This reputation has
been built on sourcing high quality coffee beans to
consistently deliver great coffee to our customers. |

| The majority of the coffee beans in our unique blend are
sourced from clearly identifiable and traceable sources.
Due to the number of varieties of beans in our blend and
our need for consistently high quality, it is not always
possible to purchase all of the beans in this way. Our
objective nonetheless remains to seek ways of sourcing
all of the beans in our blend in this way and we’re
working hard to achieve this. |

| We recognise that for sustainable high quality coffee it is
essential that farmers and farmers’ communities be rewarded
for maintaining standards, not just of coffee but also of the
farm and social conditions in which coffee is grown. We
source high quality coffee at premium prices which acts as
a major incentive for growers to maintain these standards. |

| We will continue to develop our purchasing of coffee to
meet our customers’ expectations of us as a responsible and
fair company and to ensure that we maintain our reputation
for having the ‘best coffee this side of Milan’. |
