Country Calling - Artist of the Month

At Caffè Nero, we've always believed that great coffee and great music belong together. That's why we're absolutely delighted to be sponsoring Country Calling Festival — one of the most exciting celebrations of country, Americana, and roots music on the UK calendar. The festival runs from the 14th to the 16th August in a beautiful location just outside of Chelmsford, Essex.

Country Calling has become a true home for a genre that is thriving in Britain like never before. From heartfelt songwriting to fiery guitar work, the festival captures something authentic — a community of artists and fans who care deeply about the music they make and love. It's an atmosphere that feels, in many ways, a lot like our own: warm, genuine, and built around the moments that matter.

To mark our involvement, we're bringing a full Caffè Nero to the festival site — so whether you're fuelling up before the first act of the day or winding down over an evening espresso, there'll always be a proper coffee waiting for you. Because life's too short for bad coffee, and it's certainly too short to miss the music.

We're also incredibly proud to be hosting our very own Caffè Nero stage, shining a spotlight on some of the finest emerging talent the UK has to offer. These are artists at the start of something special — and we think you'll agree, once you've heard them, that the future of British country and Americana is in very good hands.

So, for all of July and August we will be featuring the musicians appearing at the festival on our playlist throughout the UK. Every afternoon from 15.30 we will be exclusively featuring the music of the headliners for fifteen minutes; Parmalee, Tyler, Madeline Merlot, Charlie Worsham, Randy Houser, Erin Kinsey and Drew Green to name but a few!

Come find us at the festival from 12pm on the Friday and 8am (for campers) Saturday and Sunday until close of play. The coffee's on.
