Henry Grace - Artist of the Month

Our Artist of the Month in February was first introduced to us in 2021 and we have played his music before. However, he has just released a brilliant new album, and we are pleased to feature Henry and his new music this month in Caffè Nero.

Although he has spent quite a lot of time in the USA, he is a British singer-songwriter. Henry Grace has just released his long-awaited second album, ‘Things Are Moving All Around Me’, a sweeping and evolutionary band-driven record.

‘Things Are Moving All Around Me’ captures a three-year journey through homecoming and artistic transformation and the album is a rich, heartfelt collection that marks Grace’s evolution from solitary troubadour to frontman of a fully realised band.

Moving to California at 21, Grace played his first shows in the small folk clubs, coffee houses and bars of Los Angeles and San Francisco. There he was introduced to the music of artists like Ray Lamontagne who helped shape his early writing and the songs that would later appear on his 2022 debut album ‘Alive In America’. Since returning home to London, after five years in the States, his music has been championed by the likes of Clash, Americana UK, Under The Radar and BBC Introducing. Danielle Perry chose Grace as her self-released artist of the month on Absolute Radio after seeing him play at Great Escape Festival and he performed on The Acoustic Stage at last year’s Glastonbury.

We will be playing his music every afternoon in all UK Caffè Nero’s at 15.30 for 15 minutes.
