Their story
Based in the centre of Italy, this bakery began with a single pâtissier and a passion for regional Italian treats. They now supply artisan bakes across the country, but their focus remains unchanged. Everything is still made in small batches with the same hands-on care.
Our Maritozzi buns use a slow-rise dough, typically taking two days to perfect. It's then filled with real cream enriched with honey and citrus zest. No shortcuts, just simple Italian ingredients treated with patience.
Each bun is filled by hand, just before it leaves the bakery.
You’ll find Maritozzi in traditional Roman coffee houses, but we couldn't resist them in ours too. Best enjoyed with an authentically made espresso, or alongside a cappuccino for breakfast.
