Tom Speight - Artist of the Month

We are great fans of Tom and his music, which we have been playing for some years on our playlist. He is not only a great musician but one of the nicest guys you could possibly meet. Tom has played the Caffè Nero stages at both the Cornbury and Black Deer festivals, and was a previous Artist of the Month in 2023.

Tom has been a prolific artist from the very beginning. With a string of EPs and three full-length albums under his belt, he has gained strong radio support from BBC Radio 2, with 10 consecutive playlisted records and over 300 million streams across digital platforms. He has also become a regular feature on mainstream TV. Since 2016, Speight has achieved international recognition, performing in countries from the UK to Germany and Brazil, headlining shows and supporting major acts such as Bastille, Snow Patrol, Jack Savoretti, and Stereophonics.

We are particularly pleased to be playing tracks from his new album, ‘Perfect Strangers’, which delivers his most personal and unfiltered work to date. The indie-folk artist’s fourth studio album is a heartfelt meditation on connection, vulnerability, and the timeless power of song—marking a triumphant chapter in a career defined by honesty and craft. The album’s sonic richness is elevated by an exceptional cast of collaborators, including PP Arnold, Lydia Clowes, Charlotte OC, The Mayries, and members of beloved bands like Feeder, Turin Brakes, Snow Patrol, and Embrace.

We will be playing 15 minutes of Tom’s music every afternoon in all stores at 15.30, so please go and enjoy a great coffee and listen to Tom Speight's music during all of October!
